LL.B BA (Hons) (Lawyer)
Mark graduated from Murdoch University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Philosophy and joined the firm's commercial litigation team in June 2020.
Prior to joining Murcia Pestell Hillard, Mark worked for several boutique firms practising exclusively in commercial litigation. He prides himself on understanding the needs of his clients and offering bespoke solutions rather than taking 'one size fits all' approach. Mark's primary focus is identifying the relevant and important objectives of the client, formulating a cost-effective strategy to achieve those objectives and anticipate, and prepare for, possible obstacles along the way so as to bring, as far as is reasonably possible, disputes or impending disputes to end quickly.
Mark has acted as counsel in all Western Australian Courts, the State Administrative Tribunal, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia in the New South Wales and Queensland Supreme Court.
